I would like to view my database in excel.
I want to be able to press a button in my program and then have a specified table in my database to be sent to excel to be viewed.
How do i do that? Would it be possible to do that? I just want to see the data table in excel, not really looking for anything else, just a simple table in the excel spreadsheet.
The most common way is to use a pivot table and bind your sql table(s).
Cubes and excel can give you highly sophisticated data results and manipulations in excel.
With .net i''m not sure but you probably have to specify a range for your data(in excel) and start adding columns from the database.Hey a good idea would be to see if you can programatically use an excel pivot table and a db to bing your data.
But if you just want to display db to excel i think using a pivot table is the key.
is there any other way besides pivot table? I just want to see a table filled with the data from my database.
