Hello!,
I'm trying to gather together information on how I would go about coding a service for windows 2000 that is made to be 'snapped in' to the Internet Services manager. I was just looking at it and with just SMTP, WWW, and FTP there's all this extra space and they look so lonely!
I've been looking on the internet and having really come up with much. I did see a book by Dan Appleman though on NT Services but I don't think it's tailored towards a windows 2000 environment and I doubt it goes into making a program that can be snapped into the MMC or ISM.
Any directions, source, or recommended books would be appreciated.
