What is it with the search?

It takes too many resources and clogs up the server.

We are working to resolve a few speed issues at the moment with the vBulletin software and the server configuration. Because of this, search has had to be disabled here temporarily until we have identified the problem.

is that also why the e-mail feature is disabled? because that is a good way to transfer files that are too big for the forum:D
