You wouldnt send sound, you would send a string saying to play the sound on the remote client. If you could do the former, you would only need to have the game installed on one comp (and you would need a really fast internet speed!).

Is very important now the kind of protocol used.

Each protocol work diferent sending sound data.

When we send some data from one computer to other the information is take for the other computer as block.

Exp. in TCPIP. it's use a port for trasport the data music or others.
