Job Description
Qvinci Software is seeking an experienced application programmer to work on our Qvinci products. This is a full time position. There are no part-time or intern-level positions at this time. The ideal applicants have a proven track record in the design and development of high availability, highly scalable web based applications and logic. A thorough understanding of architectural best practices is essential coupled with a desire to work with the latest technology in a fast-paced, competitive team environment.

Responsibilities
* Designing the UI/UX of web applications for both client and administrators
* Creating graphical presentation layer for applications
* New development, enhancements and maintenance of business management applications
* Working with a development team in an Agile environment

Required Skills
* 5+ years software design experience
* Computer Science/ graphic design or related degree or certification
* Worked at least one year on a commercial software product that has successfully launched
* Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design, UI / UX design, capabilities of different platforms/browsers, & design constraints on the web
* Solid understanding of web-related technologies (e.g. HTML/XHTML, AJAX, HTTP, IIS, CSS)
* Silverlight and/or WPF experience
* Expert Knowledge of XAML and Microsoft Expression Blend
* ASP.NET Web forms and/or ASP.NET MVC experience
* Experience in multi-tier architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming
* Ability to work with and incorporate new technologies into your solution
* Ability to create and propose solutions to complex problems
* Proven experience building multi-tier web applications

Desired Skills
* C# 3.0 & Microsoft .NET 3.5 experience
* Understanding of agile software development practices, especially Lean and TDD
* Experience working on social networking applications
* Working knowledge of Expression Studio
