Wrong forum! I think you meant post this in chit chat?
Or General Developer?
For those who do not know what the pdc is it is the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference.
Yeah, I was just thinking that!
I'll be there. In fact, just checked into hotel.
Brad!
So did you make it to the Palermo party Brad?
I will be down there tonight for the dinner. Will you be going too?
Post up anything you can on todays keynotes and presentations. :thumb:
I was a within a block of the Palermo party when I was intercepted (or I intercepted) a group of guys leaving it. They said the Palermo party was canned beer and not much to see, so we went to the TweetUp over at the Figero (sp?) Hotel. We hung around there a while, then crashed the end of another party that was winding down. The Palermo party was suppose to be over at that time, so I called it an evening.
I had invites to a couple of parties tonight. Hit one at for quite a while. Decided it was time to come back and get some work done. :)
As to posting, I'm going to try to get a blog entry or two in, but there probably won't be a lot of detail. There hasn't been a lot new. This isn't your standard PDC. :)
Brad!
I just got back a few minuts ago. The dinner was great. Good food too.
See you tomorrow at the Underground party.
Now I have to finish my code before tomorrow 9am deadline :D
Some of the stuff discussed:
PinPoint
Dallas
Project Sydney
SQL Azure
Lots of Azure Stuff
Oslo now in SQL Server
etc.
Didnt make it to the underground party :( Had to work late and couldnt leave. Even missed the live broadcast of Scott Gu
Underground was good. For a while you couldn't even really move because there were soooo many people. Scott's stuff there was a repeat of what he covered in the keynote. There were a lot of non-PDC people at the event.
Well its a free public event. It was like that last year. Still a great event to go to. :thumb:
