How To Run Macro via VB6 and send password
I have a daily vb script scheduled to run via cron job, but now that I have password protected my database I can't get it run the DoCmd.RunMacro command without having a prompt for the password again even though it is already in the DBPath variable. How can I get rid of the password prompt or pass the password in this line of code:
'Run Import Extract query
AccessApp.DoCmd.RunMacro MacroName
Re: How To Run Macro via VB6 and send password
So you are saying that you are runnning VBA code inside Access and when you do it prompts you for the password for the database that you are running your vba code in?
Re: How To Run Macro via VB6 and send password
No sir, I have an Access database with macros in it. I am writiing a visual basic 6 program to run the macros without opening the database, but I have only found how to send the password when using odbc connections. I may just have to write out code to do what the macro was doing.
