SendMessage API

does anyone know the constant and there equivalent actions if passed by sendmessage to a running window knowing its hWnd ???

There are a ton of them. Go grab Dan Appleman's "Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API" and he lists and explains each one.
