Interacting with TomTom via VB...

hi guys,,,

im sure somebody has thought of this before, and im guessing it is possible - at least i hope so... but:

hope difficault would it be to open up tomtom in my application... there is no Navigator software of PC... i own a tomtom one [v2] and i can control it via Tomtom home... but i would like to embed this into my application on a tab...

now what ive been thinking is open tomtom home, click on the "tomtom" tab to start the interaction between home and the tom tom

then much like when you set the owner of say a directx video etc i can overlay the tomtom functions? would this work


[im guessing that tomtom home has the "navigator" software built in, just using tomtom as the GPS unit and map info etc... so i will need tomtom home open also... anyone done this before?]

im making a front end entirely. so wouldnt really like to have to go into windows to control my tomtom etc...
