Combo box variable passing and requerrying on ASP

Help!

I have a combo box that is populated by a function. The function, gets all equipment numbers.

There is a second combo box that is populated with a list of Equipment components as applicable to the piece of equipment selected in the first combo box. This combo box is also populated by a function.

This information is needed to be posted to a form and as such the functions are called between the form tags.

Here is my delima. I don't know how to get the data from the first combo box to the second. With in the form tags, I call the populate combo 1 function. Based on the value that is visibly populated in to the combo box, I need the corresponding values in the 2nd combo box to be populated as well.

All of this also needs to happen in a requery situation. So that if I change the equipment number, the components for that equipment number also change.

HELP HELP HELP!

Got the code at load working.... I just need to know how to requery the 2nd combo box after the value in the first changes.
