Difference between Windows Mobile to PPC

Please enlighten me about this issue , im developing a mobile application, the operating system is Windows mobile 2003. Now the problem is , is windows mobile 2003 is the same as pocket pc 2003 which is listed in the Project type, smartdevice? . . . . if so, my program will run, but if not, is there such thing as windows mobile 2003 sdk to be added to vb .net2005.
