Where is the puzzle?
The first image is the PUZZLE I need to solve (it's likely a riddle / message). The second image is the CODEBREAKER.
What's the cash reward? :p
to give you a little help, the letters across the bottom are one of the known shortest word phrases to contain all the letters of the alphabet. This one has 27 letters. Obviously you need to fill those 27 letters into the squares since there are 27 squares. The orientation is the hard part.
How much Cash?
Are you setting this, or are you trying to crack it.
I got as far as "ALL YOUR BAS" then I got bored.
Hmmm... my answer doesn't seem right: www.deathcork.com
Can you 3 explain to me how you got those..?
We didn't I'm afraid, they are just typical humour in these parts.
I actually had a go at it after posting, but didn't get a worthwhile answer - it seems the codebreaker needs to be filled in a strange way.

These obviously correspond to the "codebreaker" squares. The lines are different for each one though. My guess is that once you fill the squares in, the lines correspond to what you need to cross out for each of those corresponding symbols - so the first symbol represents 2 letters, the second symbol represents 2 letters, third symbol represents 4 letters.
But would that make sense...
i am afraid you are incorrect. you can see the dots in the background and that is what the dots inside the brackets refer to. And the angle... for the first one, it is the center of the left side of the left grid. The second letter is the bottom center of the third grid. You get the idea.
Look at the 3rd and 10th symbols. Would 3rd be corner and 10th be... center?
where is my reward?Quote:
t o p f n q
u d p v k

The symbol on the right hand decoder matrix looks a bit like Mickey Mouse. Does that help?
The most clear answer I got was
potens
ultra
modum
All the others were wossname Gibberish
p.s.
You still have not told us what the cash reward is, or what our share is.

Where do I pick up the cash?
I, too, came up with Potens Ultra Modum. Sounds vaguely latin.
That would change if the bottom image is not reproduced correctly. If those three grids are stacked vertically, rather than displayed horizontally, or if they are in a different order, the answer would change.
Same.
"Powerful beyond measure" seems to be the translation.
I have to say, that was pretty unrewarding to use some obscure Latin phrase
I was hoping it'd be some geo location where the cash reward actually is.
If that is the correct answer, then the mapping of the phrase to the grids is boring. I came up with two alternative mappings, but they both produced complete gibberish.
potens ultra modum is what i got as well, but i was not aware potens was a word in latin, so i didn't post it and merely described how to fill the blocks in.
I got the same thing. Mapping was incredible simple.
I didn't spend time trying to decode it like some of you. Maybe someone could explain the decoding procedure.
LO posted most of the decoding back in #14.
The letters are just written into each grid from Left to Right, Top to Bottom, such that the first line of the first grid is NYM, the second line of the first grid is PHS, and so forth.
Here's the explanation.

Thanks for that Zach VB6. That article was very helpful. Now I see exactly how you get :
Potens
Ultra
Modum
