Clear Listview

Is there a clear for a listview.

Ie..in a listbox I use List1.Clear

How do I clear a listview after I delete
a record from the db.
I know how to delete I just need to know how to refresh the listview...refresh just loads another mbd listing on top of the existing one.

ListView1.SubItems.Clear should work
