i'll give you a tip.
if i wanted to make a download counter, then i would make a page that would count visits and redirect to the download, if this is what you want.
Thanks for the reply..why i want to detect if the file has downloaded completely, because while the file is being downloaded..i want to show a text at the middle of the screen like "Loading please wait..." then if the file has load completely..then show the file to the user...Quote:
