there is this one that I used to go to :

no clue on the number of users, though, because registration isn't necessary.
Also try devx.com, they have a huge programming community which of course includes C++. Best of all, they support NNTP. That means you can access all the discussion with Outlook Express. Simply set up a news account to newsgroups.devx.com.

Oops, it should be news.devx.com for devx. Borland also has newsgroups/forums for C++, and they are newsgroups.borland.com. I got the 2 mixed up, heehee.

Codeguru has a huge form with a ton of people on it. Also Yahoo has a C++ form but I dont have a link to it and I am to lazy right now to go and find it. ;)
Here is codeguru's

FYI, the link to C++ forum at CodeGuru is no longer working. They might have closed it down or something. But the VC++ forum is still up and running.

They have had problems with the forms the last month or so. The VC++ form will answer C++ and C questions. I had to ask my linker error question there and they answered it.

Wow! wasn't expecting such a response! Thanks guys :)
www.planet-source-code.com also has a small C++ Q&A forum.
