Sorry if this might be a little...late, but what is the UtilitiesBank For? Is it for people that want to share their work? I read the little caption underneath it but didn't give me much understanding, a little education please?

The caption is rather short:
You are right that it (like the CodeBank) is for people to share their work - the difference being that the CodeBank is for small pieces of code to incorporate into programs (such as a sub/function to sort an array), and the UtilityBank is for entire projects (such as a photo viewer application, or a calendar control)Quote:
Downloadable programs, controls, and other complete items.
Am I allowed to post some of my tutorials, or is it the wrong spot?
There is a codebank for tutorials.
The UtilityBank is the place for tutorials - there is a sub-forum explicitly for it.
If you wrote the tutorials yourself, we are happy for you to post them. :)
The tutorial should be in the post itself, rather than as a separate file - for an example, see the Excel Tutorial link in my signature.
That way you can use formatting etc without people needing to have software installed, and people don't need to spend as much time downloading before they can start reading it.
I don't know what your .wmv file contained (and how it relates to the tutorial), but if it is too big to be uploaded then it is probably not going to be very useful (for a start, many people wont download it).
If you think the file is important, think about how you can reduce the size a bit.
Apologies, I did not know I could be in the post. After I read "Must be in a Zipped Folder" I stopped reading. The .wmv is not important, it is just a voice tutorial, so I will post now. Sorry about that!:thumb:
