I am an undergraduate student in the final year of university. My speciality is IT.What I learned are the basics of VB and very small about java and concepts of database.
I am required to develop a project which is related to our course that not too complicated but at the same time not too simple. I am currently running out of ideas.. I need some suggestions. It can be on web development, or stand alone projects.
How about some "organizer" - memos, calendars, tasks, reminders, etc?..
Sort of shrinked down Outlook - not too simple, not too complicated so it'll fit your requirements.
It will give you a chance to work with both - front (could use VB) and backend (could be MS Access type database or MS SQL Express).
yes, i go with RhinoBull...some sort of phone book will do(from personal experience, each time i learn a new programming language, i create a phone book using that language - to be sure i know what i've just learnt).
