ftp using vb

Hello all,
I have just stepped into the world of vb. I am sorry if this is a repost. I couldnt find the exact match for my answer. so posting this question here.

I have a file on my local machine(Windows : say vbfile.sh)
Now I want to copy that file into a linux machine(preferable ftp)
how do I perform this?

As is often the case, there are examples of doing it in our Codebank - VB6 forum. Using "Seach this forum" at the top of that page (or the advanced search and select the forum) will find them.
