Created distributoin package by using Package & Deployment wizard using VB6 Tools.
The installable package is transferred to CD's for distribution purpose. But when installed from the CD after complete installation, showing 100% installation, it displays error message :
path/file access error.
But when the same package is installed directly from hard disk. It is installed properly.
Tell me what could be the reason, and what is the soluition to this problem.

We had a similar problem at one stage, whether it is the same as yours I don't know.
But have a look at the file properties after install; check if any of the files you use or want to open are read only.
