Thanks for the reply, I had already read that thread before posting. It doesn't address the question of the installation package using the VB6 PDW.

As far as I can tell, the setup.exe bootstrap program used by PDW packages is 32-bit code and not 16-bit. Since setup1.exe is a VB6 program that will be 32-bit as well.
So I don't see anything to prevent a PDW package from installing under Vista64.

I think you will be fine, simply trying it is the best solution though. I've seen a couple of VB6 apps deployed succesfully on 64bit machines,

My client decided to stay with Windows XP on the new machine because all the other machines on their network are XP.
But since almost all off the shelf new machines are coming with Vista 64 bit, I was curious if I need to start looking for a different Installation Packaging software.
