Slow Forums

Is it just me or are the forums crawling today? It has taken about 9 minutes to load the home page, the forum feedback page and the new thread page...

All my other sites are working ok... :eek2:

Yeah it is!! I've been trying to post about this on Forum feedback for the last hour but it has been impossible! Now it seems to have gotten better so I'll just paste what I tried to post before in here....

"Alright I had written a relatively long post here about how slow the site is, but when i clicked submit reply it made me wait for 15 minutes before IE told me "the page could not be displayed", so I'll try one more time...

The site is pretty much unusable as it is right now, I cant do anything. I noticed this "slowness" at around 9 this morning, the time is now 10:21 and all this time has been spent trying to get here to post this message.
So yeah...what could be causing this? I noticed that there was 19 signed in members and 333 guests earlier this morning, a bit later it was 17 members and 436 guests. Now the number of guests have climbed to 582. I dont know if this large amount of guests is normal or not (Havent payed much attention to the number of guests when the site is running normally)...but I find it strange that it climbs so much during this period of aaaawful slowness.

Lets hope that this message gets posted alright, I dont think I'll have the temper to try it one more time if it does not."

Good, it had taken bloody ages to post this, but now it appears to be resolved... I think.

I've been experiencing the slow forums too! I thought it might just be IE8 at first but no.
