Double Posting
This has now happened to me twice in the last 10 minutes... when using the quick reply, I click the "Send Post" button ONCE.... after a few seconds, it comes back with "You can only post to this forum once every 30 seconds. Please try again in 15 seconds." .... first time it happened to me, I didn't pay attention, and I hit Send Post anyway.... and when it returned to the thread, I discovered, it had already posted my reply.... AWR? So I deleted the duplicate. Then in the next thread I tried to reply to, it happened again! This time I was paying attention, and I saw that my reply had already been posted.... so I jsut bailed on it. what gives? This has happened on two of the three threads I've replied to so far this morning.

Re: Double Posting
I'm doing this in the Quick Reply window to see what happens. BTW there's no "Send Post" button just "Post Quick Reply" and "Go Advanced".

Re: Double Posting
It seems to be working normally for me. what browser are you using?

Re: Double Posting
I don't find "Send Post" but rather "Post Quick Reply", where is that button?

Re: Double Posting
I think you get the "Send Post" button when you get hit with the message "You can only post to this forum once every 30 seconds. Please try again in 15 seconds." because it thinks you are trying to double post or post too quickly.

Re: Double Posting
Sorry about the button name issue.... I guess not every one has Option Infer turned on.
anyways, I haven't had the issue again since. I'm wondering if it was something in the ajax code that caused a time out, so it tried to submit it again. Both times it happened, it seemed to take a little longer than normal posting the reply. *shrug* beats me.

Re: Double Posting
Maybe it was just a glitch as the time it apeared to happen to you is during peak morning hours.

Re: Double Posting
This message (see attachment) appears if you are posting a reply and the forum is in the middle of submission and you click the "Submit Button" again! Thus, you send multiple messages in one request!

Re: Double Posting
Hey,
I have had this happen to me as well. I am using Google Chrome. I would post a message using quick reply, then I would be redirected to the advanced post editing screen, with an error regarding forum policy states you have to wait 30 seconds between posts, try again in x seconds.
