It was me partaking in a series of newfangled "Web 2.0" social networking phenomena, one of which involves us declaring our friendship on a public forum and exchanging messages that others can read. I can assure you that, like any of the other social networking sites, our friendship shall continue to remain meaningless and unfruitful, barring the occasional lottery winning I send your way.
Your sincerity washes over me like a warm, regurgitated pizza.
I was pondering the significance of the new "friends" option in VBF. It was a very short exercise, as I couldn't see any particular reason for doing so. However, now that this thread is poised to reveal the deep significance of this addition, let me put the question out there quite plainly: What's the point? What benefits/changes are seen from adding a friend?
I don't use any of those social networking things, so I can't relate to some similar experience.
The complex pseudo-platonic relationship between Mendhak and me is often the fashionable case study for contemporary psychological analyses. It's cos him a frog and all that jazz.
Friend me!
Now that you guys are mentioning the whole friend thing, I found this quite funny:
Ahh, like that crazy guy who lives behind the grocery store in a dumpster. You gave him money once so now he is your friend.
Your real friends see him approach you and ask "Who is that? Your Dad?"
That just sounds sad... I hope you're not talking from experience...Quote:

I really feel for poor BoardTracker. He hasn't made any friends. Maybe one of you will have pity on him.

We'll see if BoardTracker accepts my offering of friendship.
the forum's color scheme already has a passing resemblance to the default myspace one.
