This doesn't make sense. You're closing the call center because you can't find more people, but don't say anything about opening a call center somewhere else.

I got $5 that says someone in another country is going to be answering those calls after May 10. "We can't find enough people" is the main reason employers yell out when they ship jobs, especially white-collar, overseas or bring in foreign workers.

I think the company is full of it.

I agree, but you also have to factor in that N. Dakota has lwoer cost of living and probably less taxes and red tape.

I very much doubt you have evidence to back that claim up, in fact Im 83.07% sure based on previously statements of yours that can be directly attributed to Bush advisors.

Well maybe $5 an hour is a livible wage in N Dakota. But probably only for bachaelors.

Does N. Dakota have some kind of special "Get out of minimum wage free" law? How are they only paying $5 an hour?

Anyway, I stand by my previous statement. There are plenty in "you know where" that will answer those phones for USD $5 an hour.

Not to be too cynical and all but sounds to me like a company wanting to sub contact their help desk support to India, Indonesia, South Australia, or other cheap labour zones.;)
