I want to watch that movie so badly. Can't freaking wait for it to come to singapore. I'm going to watch it in GVMax.
Me and the Mrs. went saw it last weekend and liked it a lot.
A lot of the graphic novel fans were kinda miffed about the way the ending happened (the end result is the same in the graphic novel, but the way it's done in the movie is not the same).
To them I say this. At least the people behind Watchmen stayed true to the source material for 90% of the film. You had individuals behind this film that were fans of the source material, and tried to bring the comic to life every way they could.

At least you didn't have a hack (Michael Bay) completely IGNORE the source material for 95% of the movie (Transformers). Oh, don't forget this idiot gave the WRONG NAME to a character, and DIDN'T EVEN CORRECT IT BEFORE THE RELEASE (just to show you how much he DOESN'T care about old-school fans). I could only WISH to be so lucky as to only be able to complain about how the ending was changed.
Don't even get me started about the fact that the Decepticons didn't even F'N TALK! *** was that about? Again, this schmuck completely ignored the source and made something completely different. Michael Gay needs to apply his "vision" to something original, instead of screwing up established franchises. But the box office loved it, so this blowhole gets more money to make a sequel that will surely continue to trample over my memories of the Transformers.

Fans of the Watchmen graphic novel should be happy. This movie could have been much, much, much, much worse.
