Have you got JavaScript disabled?
Thanks, we are aware of it already - it is a "feature" of Google Chrome.
Like many other features of this site, the Thread Tools menu uses JavaScript to operate, and Google Chrome doesn't support JavaScript (yet?).
I went through all the options and there's nothing about Javascript. Must still not support it. =/
Thanks Si.
I was going through the google chrome help pages to tell them to fix their browser and I came across this:
"Google Chrome sets a time limit for JavaScript actions on a website to complete, as a precaution against errors in websites."
So it does allow/run Javascript. But the timing thing may be messing it up. The timing feature can't be disabled, but I'm gonna dig a little more.
Let us know if you can fix it because it would help several other people.
Swtich to IE :D
This article should shed some light upon Chrome and its V8 engine. Its a speed issue that doesnt look like there is a solution.

Yes it does! I just tested one of my websites that uses javascript as part of the process to display the flash buttons and the buttons display correctly. Also, there is built-in javascript debugger in Google Chrome. If Google Chrome didn't support javascript then why did the developers decide to include a javascript debugger in the browser?Quote:

It looks like the drop down doesn't work, but it does show the contents of the drop downs at the bottom of the page. And if you click on the links, it takes you to to the bottom of the page.
i just tried it and it does take you to the bottom of the page.
does anyone know how to dock the bookmarks in chrome?

Um if anyone read the article you would see it does support JS and the reason why there is an issue :p :DQuote:

It only stays open at the top. It's done through [ctrl]+B, or in the drop-down wrench button.Quote:

Well the article states its the fastest processing engine so I think it should validate the asumption that it could be a security timeout issue
Also, FF's new beta version is faster then IE8 too so we shall see if there is any FF issues with vB
I know Rob is aware of this but just in case you haven't read the Announcement, the forum will be down for upgrading on Monday.
Hey,
@koolsid, I think this is as a result of the forum upgrade. That definitely didn't work yesterday, but it is now.
Gary
Happy Days, upgarde resolved it!
Pino
Confirmed. Now working in Google Chrome. Thanks guys! :)
@Gary: Hi Gary, I resolved a thread on the Mar 10th, 2009, in the asp forums using chrome...
Hmm, really, that is interesting. I have been using Google Chrome constantly for the last two weeks, and today was the first time that I have been able to see that menu?!?!
