Email/Database

Well im a bit of a noobie when it comes to vb6 as im still in college, but currently on a assignment.
Specification wise, i need a Vb6 GUI where it can store multiple peoples person information into a database(planning on using excel). But then if that person wanted to contact some one that is stored on the database, for personal or irrelevent issues then it could be a button click away and email that user.

help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
