I freely admit that my system is for gaming. I only pretend to code.
I want to buy a new rig. I recently bought two nvidia Geforce. 9800 GT cards (SLI) and a SB Fata1ity card.
I prefer AMD and have been pretty happy with Asus/nvidia chips. But what I need is the sweetspot for the best gaming.
Any suggetions?
that system would run any game out there even with a single core processor. Especially since nvidia can offload physics calculations onto the video card's gpu now. Just buy the best you can afford. If you can, get a tri or quad-core, but i've got a x2 4800 and a much weaker video setup than yours and i'm having no trouble playing mirror's edge or left4dead.
