Re: how come if I click my combo box or command button the size becomes bigger
It shouldn't change. Where have you placed the controls and how have you placed them? A screenshot would definitely help :)

Re: how come if I click my combo box or command button the size becomes bigger

Re: how come if I click my combo box or command button the size becomes bigger
Okay, i checked it in the pc. It didn't happen with me but let me check this on the laptop and then I will get back to you...
Also I noticed that you are adding controls thru Menu
View=>Toolbars=>Forms
I would suggest that you use
View=>Toolbars=>Controls
Also in the workbook attached I see that you are using the combobox to display data that is in $A$252:$A$255. Instead of that I suggest you to use data validation. Check my signature for data validation.

-
Re: how come if I click my combo box or command button the size becomes bigger
No it is not a virus and you are not using View=>Toolbars=>Controls. i have already checked that. Have you checked the data validation linked I provided

Re: how come if I click my combo box or command button the size becomes bigger
1) Yeah I know that you haven't used data validation. I was suggesting you to use data validation drop boxes instead of comboboxes.
2) When you right click on the controls created with view>toolbars>controls, it doesn't give you the option of "assign macro" see picture attached whereas your combo does it...

Thats for when you resize your cells do you want to resize your combobox as well.... No harm in trying.... but that is not the problem. As per your screen shot your combo is way toooooooo big :D
Also one more thing....
Right click the pal combo in design mode and click on format control. post a snap shot of "Size" tab
Edit: Sorry. forgot to attach the pic.
