Re: [RESOLVED] .net Vs Other
While the above advice of using the right tool for the right job applies to all language1 vs language2 scenarios, keep in mind that ASP.NET beats everything else. This is a law. Set in stone. Fundamental universal concept.

If you hammer in screws with a hammer then they wont hold as secure. Thus being more prone to falling out or not holding. I wouldnt want to write a program that way :D

Yes, you can develop with Office very well actually (RobDog is one of our resident experts in Office programming). As for IE... well the only thing you'd program for that is an ActiveX Object which I guess you can do... but would you really want to? Unless, of course, you're talking about making websites in which case the answer is a yes.

Yes, practically any language can support creating objects as its just a matter of passing the program id and class name.
Re: [RESOLVED] .net Vs Other
Thanks.
So, in march I will be having my 3rd sem exam of BCA(Computers Application).
After 3rd sem exams i would like to do a course on some specific technology. I choose C# .NET and also ASP.NET as i love MS WINDOWS and Microsoft technologies.
Though I have learn everything through self-study but his time i will select a Institute NIIT (Microsoft's Best Training Partner is ASIA).
I will also take some advice from Indian Engineers as they know the scope of technology in Indian IT market.
How is COMPTIA A+ For hardware and OS ?
