PAP/CHAP authentication problem

can anyone help me how i can security my page with PAP/CHAP authentication?
i need to security my page with PAP/CHAP authentication.how i can do it?

Thank you for your response.yes,PAP and CHAP are two different thing.PAP means "Password Authentication Protocol" and CHAP is "Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol ".
so i need use one of them to secure my page.
Please help me.
