Not sure if it would help but how about trying this?
That requires the .NET runtime to be installed. The Citrix Terminal Server doesn't have the framework on there.Quote:

there's another setting in IE they may not have disabled. You can set it into "privacy" mode in which it won't ever record the history in the first place. I believe it's a keyboard shortcut that enters that mode. You can tell when you're in it because it tells you so in the address bar. I accidently did it yesterday.
I thought that feature was only available in IE 8?
i am not sure. I have 8 installed.
