Sending SMS messages

I'm want a program that I'm busy with to send an SMS to specified number if an certain error ocurrs in my package.

Does anyone have any idea were to start!
Any help would be great.

I'm trying to do the same thing. Have you found a soultion and if so can you help me and let me know hows its done or where I can find the help I need.
