Specify a default location for the sharepoint document libraries

Hi,

I am new to sharepoint designer and I wanted to know whether we can specify a default local folder location for the document libraries which we create. I dont want sharepoint to decide where it should recide. I want to specify that myself, once I create the doc lib.

Has anyone done this before. I googled it out, but found no useful stuffs. :(
