How long has VBF been styled like this?
I think it might be time for an upgrade, something clean and modern...
For several years now. We have been upgrading from version to version but the style has remained the same for a few years.
We should be upgrading to 3.7.x one of these months soon so if a new style gets approved it would have to probably after the upgrade as some changes may affect any new style work done.
Cool, I mean it works well.
But in my opinion it's starting to show its age, especially if you consider other styles in use on the internet. It's obviously not feasible to change every few months, but just like most major sites / TV stations (who change their style every 3 years roughly), a new style would mean a fresh clean look about it.
I really don't see the point in change for no other reason than change sake.
Presentation is just as important as content. Most web developers know this point. Sure its superficial but a website is also marketing / advertising so it is just as important.
I know who didnt vote obama... ;) just kidding...Quote:

Yes, that can be done as vBulletin supports multiple styles by allowing each member/guest to switch between them.
The reason I say this is because I have recently joined a PHP forum, and the style is so clean, and so sleek its really appealing.
As i don't really go on any other forums (before) I had just gotten used to this style, but it shows its aged compared to others.
:)
But vbf is classic and classic never ages. :)Quote:
