It's just a fact. Kennedy had to deal with the Bay of Pigs. Bush had to deal with 9/11.

Obama will have to deal with the economic meltdown. The heads of state meeting that Bush has set up with the EU won't take place until after Bush leaves office. The agenda will probably include the US president being required to debate the foraging patterns of squirrels, just to entertain.

There's not enough context around that quote; by "this guy", was Biden referring specifically to Obama, or to the next president? The paragraph above the quote says "Obama would be tested", but that would be the case with either interpretation...

The quote does come across as ambiguous, but he was referring to Obama specifically. However, it really doesn't matter. That situation will apply to whoever our next president is.

What he said just hit me the wrong way. I thought there was some form of intelligence he received specific to Obama's term. :rolleyes:
