Mine seem to be fine (using Gmail)
I'm not getting any attachments with my notifications.
My email from VBF goes to gmail and I auto-forward it from there to Outlook (2002). Here is what one of the "attachments" looks like. This started in the middle of the night on the 16th and it's consistent.
Attachment 66575
No changes made at our end.
That looks like the notification itself. Perhaps when you are forwarding it, something odd happens.
That seems to be the case but since it started at 4AM it's unlikely it's something I did.
Not that I think it makes any difference but I'm not actually forwarding the mail from Gmail to Outlook but rather downloading it from Gmail into Outlook via pop/gmail.com
Stop the forwarding/downloading/whatevering
Take a look at the notification message as it actually appears in GMail.
If it look "normal" then manually forward it/download it, then take a look at that.
Perhaps GMail changed something on you.
I had Hack send an email to me at the same address as that I use at VB Forums - no attachment.
I was able to catch a PM sent to me and look at it in Gmail and it had no attachment, but when it arrived in Outlook it had an attachment. Very strange considering that an email sent to my Gmail account by Hack wound up in my Outlook with no attachment.
More then likely the notification emails are being handled differently now by gmail. Its nothign that vB can do anyways.
Then how do you explain post #10?Quote:
