Remote host not found

Hi,
My ComPlus Client is anot able to access the Com plus server. It says Remote host is not found. Actually the Client and Server are in different locations.
If the client and the server are in the same location, they are able to communicate with each other.

What could be the reason. Any pointers in this direction will be a great help.
