[RESOLVED] [2005] Dreamweaver -> asp.net
Is there a way that I can import dreamweaver created html files and add asp.net functionality to them? I've never been good at making things look pretty so someone else is doing my design work... ofcourse it produces a ton of errors when imported into vs2005. Am I doing something complete wrong or can it not even be done?
Re: [2005] Dreamweaver -> asp.net
It really depends on what the errors are.
A simple way is to copy-paste the HTML into your Master Page, and make sure that the images/styles folders are all in the right place. Then work to eliminate the errors. But it really, really depends on what the errors are. It may be validation errors, and you could probably ask the designer to make the pages XHTML compliant. If it's other errors, then you'll have to tell us what

yeah most of it is markup errors and some link errors. I sent the designer an email asking him to try making them XHTML compliant like you suggested. I also sent him a link for MS Expressions but I am not sure if he'll get it and know how to use it.
Thanks and welcome back :afrog: !
