Hi,
So try to solve this math riddle:
An old father gave his 3 sons, named "A", "B" and "C" 17 camels.
He told them that:
1) Son "A" should get 1/2 of the total 17 camels.
2) Son "B" should get 1/3 of the total 17 camels.
3) Son "C" should get 1/9 of the total 17 camels.
Our three sons didnt know how to devide it at all, how to devide 17 by 2 or by 3 or by 9 ?!?! killing some of the camels? nah, it would be useless.
Very frustrated they went to some old wise jewish rabbi, which solved them their deviding problem geneously!
What was the rabbi suggestion?
P.S: remember, no camel-killing is allowd.

Borrow a camel.
Borrow a camel. Do the divisons, give each son his share. Then return the borrowed camel to the neighbor.

You didnt have to ruin the riddle if you already knew the answer.
it could challenge others.
p.s: dont tell me you thought about it, and found the answer.

Sorry!
Lior, sorry, it never occurred to me that most of the folks here would not have seen this already. It has been around for a long, long time.
