[2008] Question about the book "ASP.NET Unleashed 3.5"

I bought this book and little while ago but I'm just now getting a chance to look at it.

I'm having a minor issue though. All of the VB.NET code samples are on a CD that came with the book. I can open all of the examples in Visual Web Developer 2008 but I can't actually run any of them as the "run" button is greyed out all the time.

Anyone know what the problem is?

How are you opening the examples? Are you given .sln files and/or .vbproj files to work with or are you just opening the .aspx files directly?
