Can anyone advise if it is possible to query a BO univers from VB6.

i am looking at pulling data from the universe to compair against another dataset.

I have no idea what you mean by a BO univers. :confused:

Not without BO APIs - universe is a virtual structure that is recognized by its parent environment [BO] only or perhaps products like Crystal that are designed to communicate.
What's wrong with querying db directly?

I have not account for the Backend and i thought there may be a way through my BO account !!
