What are the steps for payment gateway processing?
do we need to configure any third party tool?

You'll need to consult each gateway's documentation/APIs for this. They all have their own quirks and specifications on what information needs to be passed to it.

If you don't know how to do this, then it's best if you pick up something like osCommerce or zencart, unless you want to make your own shopping website.
