Post type

Maybe a drop down box, instead of sub-forums, that allowed you to pick a specific request, and would apply a part of the threat title much like the thread resolved option does. Say in the VBA forums you could have [VBA] and [VSTA} in the Office Development forum. A bit like John_420's idea but without the separation and loss of overall page views that would be the result of sub-forum creation. Older member might remember the nx... forums that used to be around (one of which still is) and this is the method they now use to mark different types of posts.

We already have that option in the .NET forums and if people can come up with a hard list of options then we could add it in other forums.
