I have been tasked with trying to find out what font this is, and all I have to go by was a fax, that I then scanned.

the best match i was able to come up with so far (based on the fonts I have installed) was "Engravers MT" with a horizontal strech of about 150%
Didn't give me a valid result when I tried it. I have an email into the guy who needs this to see if engravers works ok for them...
If you came here seeking a font of wisdom, you R surely disappointed. Though I am a man of letters, I tend to just letter B. What R you looking for might be Engraved, though you were stating just the fax, what A R this B, U C?

Here was my result with Engravers MT stretched to 150% horizontal
The guy was fine with this as the result, so I guess case closed.
