If the toolstrip has a borderstyle you could set it to none and then use your own picture that has a border as the toolstrips image.
I created a dynamic custom class, (for myself) about this subject,
Define what you mean by border, post a screen shot, and let me see what you mean

theres no border style property for the toolstrip

Like the line that is around the edge of the toolstrip?
