Like most (if not all) dying US cities, mine (Cleveland) has been run by a deeply-entrenched liberal political machine for as long as anyone can remember. Yet as the city circles the drain, my idiot neighbors keep voting for the exact same extreme left-wing liberal politicians every time.
The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. Therefore I have no choice but to agree that modern liberalism is a mental illness.

I think the causes of economic issues are more complicated ... like the fact that manufacturing has been almost completely been shipped over seas. And in that respect, Republicans / Conservatives are less protectionalists then their liberal counterparts.
What does this article mean by liberal? I have always thought of it as a broad political view points and indifferent to political change. :confused:

The definition of liberal/conservative as been somewhat distorted in modern America. In a nutshell liberals think America is great because of it's government while conservatives believe America is great despite it's government.Quote:
