No Visual Basic for Windows Mobile development?
I downloaded and installed the Windows Mobile 5.0 Development Kit from Microsoft. But when I go into Visual Studio 2005, I only see options to create a Windows Mobile Application with C#. But, I have a sample app from a company that has Visual Basic. I don't think I missed any options on the install of the kit, or did I??

Its in there for me. Under VB > Smart Device > Device Application.
Your not running Express are you?
Re: No Visual Basic for Windows Mobile development?
Nope, I believe it is the Professional version. I'm at work now so I can't check, but I am 99% sure there was no "Smart Device" option under Visual Basic, only C#, but I'll check again tonight.

Re: No Visual Basic for Windows Mobile development?
Well the odd thing was that I was able to open a Windows Mobile 5.0 project that was written in VB and it worked just fine, but I can't seem to start a new project using VB as the language.
Re: No Visual Basic for Windows Mobile development?
Try a reinstall and check your options of what is installed. Perhaps you just need to check the box for it?
