I bought a tablet off ebay (HP COMPAQ TC1000) and it's running fine.
I said a prayer and installed SP2, and it installed just fine. Now I'm onto the 93 other updates. :)

I have a gateway tablet and I don't like it.
I have a Lucozade tablet which works well for me as it increases my performance and allows me to progress with my coursework at a faster rate than usual! This tablet came in a packet with approximately 15 others and cost me 70p :).
I have installed all updates. I am using DriveXML to backup the drive and I'm going to see how that goes.
A blow by blow account of your new laptop being set up is exactly what this forum needs.
 Now... what's a tablet? Google is broken. :(
Those silly little laptops with the screen that swivels around and you can write on the screen with a special silly little pen. I can't remember which part breaks first, the fragile little swivel or the screen from all the plastic pen pounding.
.rofl.
So basically it's an overgrown palm pilot... not impressive. I hate laptops to begin with...
o rly? This guy loves them...
Oh that's reassuring.
Its not a laptop, its a tablet get it right, jeez.Quote:
