Yeah, that would be pretty neat. I expect the price tag will be pretty doggone high, though.
Looks like a lot of fun..... unfortunately I'm thinking it might not be too practical up here.
a) Not much ground clearence for getting over snow banks.
b) High efficiency, means low heat.... which means driving with a hat and gloves on while it's in the minus 30's here....
But fun for you southern softies ;)
The first point if far less important than you might think. I drive one of the late 90's Subaru Legacies, which has some pretty low clearance. I scrape my butt when going into parking lots fairly often, and so does the car. Works fine in snow, though, until it gets too deep to plow through.Quote:

Ah, unfortunately the plows here regularly leave a ridge infront of your driveway, which even when padded down is about a foot and a half high. Now you could go out and shovel it out of the way each time, or you could be lazy (like me) and just go over, compacting it down each time. Pretty much everyone here has a truck or SUV stashed somewhere. Just doing our bit for the environment. :)
